This amazing life philosophy is being taken to the next level!!!
It all started with Best Summer Ever, is now on Best Fall Ever, and Best Winter and Spring Ever will follow that. If completed, it will constitute Best Life Ever. Best Season Ever means taking all the ultimate seasonally fun things to do and DOING THEM ALL. This is not negotiable - the checklist must be completed.
Let's live our lives! You don't have to do everything, because it's a lot of pressure, but I'm going to do it all, and if you're ambitious, you can make it happen. It's all about actually DOING those things that you keep saying you're going to do. What if you die tomorrow in a car crash? How will you have wanted to live your life? Do you want to look back on your youth, when you're old and confined to a walker, and realize you didn't go to the waterpark, or go to a barn dance, or have a box fight in the river valley? I know I don't.
There are a lot of things in our lives that are beyond our control, but the thing you have full control over is how much fun you have in the time that you're here. You can be happy with nothing, or miserable with everything, or anything anywhere in between, so let's say a big fuck you to all the forces that are keeping us down, and have the BEST YEAR OF OUR LIVES!!!
Rules of Best Life Ever:
1. If you're going to complain/whine/criticize, go somewhere else. Be cynical about the government, not about fun.
2. Be proactive - if there's an event you're particularly interested in or have suggested, pick up the phone and see how to get it done. Organize! Keep us updated on your planning so people know which days to book off work, and get 'er done.
3. If something is unaffordable, that's fine. The only way anything won't get done is if you really can't make it happen. Nobody wants you to spend your rent money on a road trip if it's only to check something off the list and you'll end up homeless by the time you're back. We're all working people, we know how it is.
4. If you have a choice between doing something fun and not doing something fun, always do it.
